The inaugural KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2025 was an overwhelming success. There were more than 700 speaking session submissions. Registrations and sponsorships completely SOLD OUT

This is why I’m thrilled to share KubeCon + CloudNativeCon will return to Japan in 2026—and this time, we’re heading to the beautiful port city of Yokohama!

Save the dates: 29-30 July 2026

From vibrant community meetups to globally recognized innovation in cloud native technologies, Japan has been a strong contributor to CNCF’s Asia-Pacific growth. After the success of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon in Tokyo, we can’t wait to once again bring the community together in a place where cutting-edge technology meets rich cultural heritage.

Yokohama Makes Sense

As Japan’s second-largest city, Yokohama is a global innovation hub, particularly for startups. It’s thriving tech scene, world-class infrastructure, and a long-standing spirit of international collaboration—making it the perfect setting for the next KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan.

The Pacifico Yokohama venue allows us to grow, offering ample space for maintainers, end users, contributors, and ecosystem partners to connect in person, share best practices, and continue pushing the cloud native landscape forward.

What to Expect in 2026

More, more, and more:

But Yokohama isn’t just about conference halls—it’s about sushi by the bay, futuristic architecture, and maybe even a ride on the Cosmo Clock Ferris Wheel. Combining education and fun KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is known for.

Stay Tuned & Get Involved

Planning is underway, and we’ll be sharing updates on the Call for Proposals (CFP) and registration in the months ahead. If you are interested in sponsoring, visit 2026 KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan for information.

In the meantime, mark your calendars for 29-30 July 2026 and plan to meet us in Yokohama.

We can’t wait to welcome you to another unforgettable gathering of our global community. Let’s continue building the future—together.

See you in Yokohama!
