We will discuss the current and future state of DBaaS and the role that Open Source Database projects play. This event is hosted by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and will feature two industry DBaaS veterans. You will leave with an understanding of the role open source plays in the current DBaaS industry and the opportunities that DBaaS will provide to Open Source Database projects moving forward. The session will use MySQL as an example, but the general concepts are relevant to most Open Source Projects.
