The Kubernetes CSI has provided Kubernetes users with an efficient and reliable framework to run stateful workloads on Kubernetes. Cloud native data protection tools like Kanister continue to grow and mature so that valuable user data is protected, providing data owners with more control and ownership over the backup artifacts.In this talk, Michael Cade and Ivan Sim will showcase ways to implement robust and extensible CSI-based data protection workflows using Kanister’s rich set of data protection constructs and Argo Workflows’ comprehensive workflow orchestration APIs.
